Winter in LA, Ducks in Venice

Walking from the Flux office to Flake for lunch yesterday we came across this flock of ducks. I’m pretty sure they are ducks and not geese cause I looked it up at “What’s the difference between a duck and a goose?.”
It is 73° F and Sunny in Venice. Come visit.
i see them all the time, they are awesome!
they must live in that building they hang out at….

hey - the ducks are gone! does anyone know what happened to them? i think i saw them last about 2 weeks ago (jan 7th-ish?)

Strange, I just adopted 3 that look exactly like these through San Diego Humane Society. They were not quite sure if they were ducks or geese as well and said they acquired them through some wildlife refugee (but they obviously are not wild).
