Photo booth action!
Hello Kitty’s Birthday Cake was made up of hundreds of Vanilla Bakeshop cupcakes
Lady Sinclair spun tunes for Hello Kitty’s birthday breakfast. Among other things this birthday girl can dance.
Flux curated a full day of fabulous activities including a birthday breakfast, a toy workshop with Three Apples artist Buff Monster, a photo booth, a live figure drawing workshop with Three Apples artist Gary Baseman, and invited the beautiful LA Ladies Choir to share their songs with Hello Kitty and her friends.

As the magic hour grew near, guests gathered around Hello Kitty’s tower of cupcakes. A contingent of the LA Ladies Choir flowed in and sang a four song set including “Oh My Beautiful World” written by Becky Stark; “To Be, To See” written by Aska Matsumiya; “Ocean and Ground” written by Becky Stark and “Pray to us all” written by Ariana Delawari. At that moment the birthday girl came out and the Choir started everyone in singing “Happy Birthday.”
After a short set of their amazing music, the LA Ladies Choir got all the party-goers to join in singing Happy Birthday to the special girl.
This is the final weekend of the Three Apples exhibition, so if you haven’t seen it yet be sure to check it out. As part of the Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary there are exhibits and celebrations happening all over the world, so be on the look out Hello Kitty’s trademark bow.
