Flux and the Hammer Museum present a celebration of short films, music videos and the people who make them.
We kick off the new year with a program that includes a very special cinema screening of David Bowie’s Blackstar from director Johan Renck, the LA premieres of Terri Timely’s Input/Output and Suzi Yoonessi and Charlene deGuzman’s The Chemistry of Love, plus Anna Ginsburg’s stunning animation Planet Sizes for Steve Mason.
Special guests joining us for the evening: Joel Knoernschild, Johan Renck, AG Rojas, Suzi Yoonessi, Charlene deGuzman and Terri Timely. The program will also include new music videos for Chet Faker, Tame Impala, Skrillex & Diplo, Miike Snow and much more. Filmmaker presentations and a courtyard after-party, with DJ set by Marlon Fuentes, will follow the screening.
ALL HAMMER PUBLIC PROGRAMS ARE FREE.
Tickets are required, and are available at the Billy Wilder Theater Box Office one hour prior to start time. Limit one ticket per person on a first come, first served basis. Hammer members receive priority seating, subject to availability.
Parking is available under the Museum. There is a $3 flat rate after 6:00 p.m.
