Flux Screening Series at the Hammer, Los Angeles

The Flux Screening Series at The Hammer presents innovative short films, music videos, feature films, filmmaker retrospectives and the most interesting visual work from around the globe. Tonight special guests Syd Garon and Sam Spiegel will discuss their artist/animation collaboration for the band NASA. Participating artists in the project include Sage Vaughn, the Date Farmers and Shepard Fairey. Tonight they will present the world premiere of their latest video made in collaboration with artist Marcel Dzama.
Also screening in the program is new work by Dougal Wilson, Jonnie Ross, Cat Solen, Carlos Florez, videos for Radiohead, Goldfrapp, Santogold, the Ghostly Swim project and much more. All this will be followed by a courtyard after-party.
Admission is free, RSVP is suggested. Seating is first come, first served. RSVP does not guarantee seating. Box office opens at 6PM. Guests who arrive after the theaters are full are welcome to enjoy the program in the outdoor courtyard.

The Museum is located at the northeast corner of Westwood and Wilshire Boulevards in Westwood Village, 3 blocks east of the 405 freeway’s Wilshire Boulevard exit.
Parking is available under the Museum. There is a $3 flat rate after 6:30 p.m.
